America in Danger — What You Must Know to Protect Yourself

Former White House advisor to three U.S. Presidents — George Bush, Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford — Stephen Studdert knows Washington as an insider with privileged information, contacts and insight. Unfortunately these days this knowledge is a burden and the normally optimistic Studdert admits that he’s a worried man.

He has written America in Danger — What You Must Know to Protect Yourself to raise a warning voice saying that such a complexity of factors influencing American independence and the economy are upon us that it is difficult for most citizens to gain perspective. However, it is essential to have this understanding to be adequately prepared.

Judge Not Unrighteously

A common tactic used by individuals who wish to silence a person making a judgment on a moral issue is to cite the Lord’s own words in their support: “Judge not, that ye be not judged”. The attempt to use these words to prevent any judgment from taking place is not only absurd, but scripturally incorrect.

For starters, one need only look as far as the Joseph Smith Translation which adds context and clarity to the Savior’s words. In doing so, we learn that the Savior instead was telling his disciples to not judge unrighteously. Further, he counseled them to “judge righteous judgment”, in effect instructing them to judge others—but based on the correct moral standard God had given them.

Ignoring this insight, people who try to end a discussion with an appeal to the “judge not” line of scripture evidently advocate a “live and let live policy”, where no individual judgment occurs, and thus each person implicitly condones and supports whatever his neighbor chooses to do. This warped version of the golden rule shirks our responsibility to stand for what is right—instead of advocating doing unto others what we would have them do unto us, we’re told to not do unto others what we don’t want them to do unto us.

Conversely, the Lord would have us act instead of being acted upon—taking a proactive stance to work in righteousness, stand for truth, and spread the light of the gospel. The golden rule has the right idea: we should do good unto others, not simply not do bad things.

Time to Wake Up....Please!!

President Packer has numerous times in the last half decade stated "we cannot ignore Moroni's warning that we 'must awake to a sense of our awful situation.'" Of course most LDS People don't seem to grasp what he's talking about, even after Gordon B. Hinckley admonished the whole church to "read again" the marvelous Book of Mormon before year end in 2005. President Hinckley even sought to help us grasp what the book would teach us, citing "scheming leaders" of whom the people succumbed, and he also stated the book was "as current as the morning newspaper." Current as the Morning Newspaper? Most truly don't think so, or they fail to make the parallels and obvious connections.

Ezra Taft Benson too mentioned Moroni's warning that Pres. Packer has been citing. In the last address Ezra Taft Benson stood at the pulpit and delivered under power of his own voice just before being "withdrawn from among the people," he warned:

“I testify that wickedness is rapidly expanding in every segment of our society. (See D&C 1:14- 16; 84:49-53.) It is more highly organized, more cleverly disguised, and more powerfully promoted than ever before. Secret combinations lusting for power, gain, and glory are flourishing. A secret combination that seeks to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries is increasing its evil influence and control over America and the entire world. (See Ether 8:18-25.)” (Conference Report, Oct.. 1988, Ensign, Nov. 1988, p. 87.)

I testify that the church and kingdom of God is increasing in strength. Its numbers are growing, as is the faithfulness of its faithful members. It has never been better organized or equipped to perform its divine mission.

I testify that as the forces of evil increase under Lucifer’s leadership and as the forces of good increase under the leadership of Jesus Christ, there will be growing battles between the two until the final confrontation. As the issues become clearer and more obvious, all mankind will eventually be required to align themselves either for the kingdom of God or for the kingdom of the devil. As these conflicts rage, either secretly or openly, the righteous will be tested. God’s wrath will soon shake the nations of the earth and will be poured out on the wicked without measure. (See JS—H 1:45; D&C 1:9.) But God will provide strength for the righteous and the means of escape; and eventually and finally truth will triumph. (See 1 Ne. 22:15–23.)

An Obama Nation

Libertarian icon Lew Rockwell didn't pull any punches about what an Obama nation will mean in the long term: "I predict that, under Obama, taxes and government spending will increase, government regulation and control over our lives will increase, economic disorder will increase, state police powers will increase, and imperialistic wars will continue unimpeded (and likely increase). In short, the political establishment will continue to pursue its agenda - without a break in meter - regardless of who it places on the throne. In the words of Emma Goldman: 'If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.'" True.

I don't think Americans will ever wake up, however. The truth is too hard to face. Blindness to reality and false optimism rule the day. These two illusions go hand in hand in facilitating the media-driven agenda to fool an unthinking populace into continually trusting the establishment to lead, failure after failure. They are truly experts at manipulating the public mind. The PTB(Powers that be) have shown that fear of a financial collapse can drive almost all people everywhere into doing whatever the establishment leaders tell them. And when the people demand change, they give them Team B--new faces, but establishment insiders just the same.

I predict we will never have peace in this world again. Obama's globalist advisors (CFR team B--pretending to be different and even in opposition to CFR team A that handled Bush) will ensure that. Iran is still on the top of the list for the next intervention. Israel will be embroiled in another war with the Palestinians, Hezbollah and the Syrians. North Korea will still be given a free ride in all its ugly tyranny (to someday serve as a trigger for an even greater world conflict), and Russia and China will continue to rise in military might, unimpeded by administration policy until they are too great a threat to deter. That great final threat of world war probably won't mature until a subsequent administration--when a warmongering globalist Republican returns to office.
